The Animal Kingdom

In the near future, more and more people are transforming into strange, sometimes aggressive hybrid creatures that are part animal, part human. While doctors and scientists search for causes and possible treatments, those affected in France are being housed in so-called "centers." Because Emile's mother is also mutating in this mysterious way, he and his father Francois want to move closer to the facility where she is to be housed. But when their transport crashes, she flees into the forest with a group of other hybrid creatures. Francois and Emile immediately set out in search of her, but the police and military are also trying to recapture the fugitives. Police officer Julia, however, secretly supports Francois and his son. Then Emile discovers that the transformation is beginning in him as well.
