The Apple

In Geneva, Laura, an independent young woman, goes through a period of emotional and existential uncertainty. Surrounded by several men-friends, potential lovers, sometimes immature male figures-she watches, hesitates, moves forward, then pulls back. Relationships form and unravel in an atmosphere that seems light on the surface, yet is permeated by a deep melancholy. Through everyday situations, fragmented dialogue, and a constant play between distance and intimacy, the film explores desire, loneliness, and the difficulty of making choices, particularly for a woman striving to preserve her emotional independence.
