The Broken Land

In a remote camp in the mountains, Carlota, a prestigious paleontologist, has kept a secret for years: The fossil remains of a hypocrisy, a mythological animal half bird and half lion, of which no one is certain of its existence. Constanza, a young paleontologist sent by the foundation that finances the project, must supervise Carlota's work. She will question the veracity of the finding and the handling of the funds destined for the investigation. The two women are at odds with each other, each hoping for a misstep from the other, but the arrival of Freddy, a colleague and rival of Carlota, will make them join forces: Freddy wants to seize the academic finding, in addition to other dark intentions that involve the exploitation of the territory and its resources.
