Plot
Storyline
The 30th of March, 1981, the delusional John Hinckley Jr. tries to kill president Ronald Reagan. His life hangs on a thin thread at the hospital, while the Soviet Union is ready to invade a Poland on the brink of a revolution. Based on actual events during the final stages of the cold war.
A dramatization of events that took place on the fateful 30 March, 1981, when president Ronald Reagan suffered an assassination attempt by a lone man. With a leader fighting for his life in the hospital and the vice-president absent from the capital, Secretary of State Al Haig is the one who tries to stay in charge of everything in the White House control room, monitoring a possible Soviet invasion on Poland and dealing with a curious and invasive press desperate to know the real health condition of Reagan.
