Utterly disappointed in himself for not being able to stay in Athens, the recently discharged from the army, Iason Filippou, returns to Rhodes, kissing goodbye to his carefree lifestyle once and for all. However, a chance encounter with the self-assured international playboy, Kostas Makris, will plant the seeds of rebellion, against the backdrop of a fascinating new acquaintance with the affluent islander and mysteriously alluring married woman, Martha Foka. Blind with lust, Iason must have her, unbeknownst to him, however, that a piercing set of invisible eyes follow his every move. Above all, Martha's husband is a cynical plutocrat who is not going to take lying down his statuesque wife's shameless infidelity, letting a nobody steal his prized possession. Now, under August's scorching sun, a cold-blooded murder promises salvation from the insufferable burden of jealousy; nevertheless, has anyone emerged unscathed from the unbreakable shackles of passion?
