The Private Life of an Actor

Lucien Guitry is a great actor, perhaps even the best at the moment. Besides the love he has for the theater, the artist harbors a devouring passion for the fairer sex. As it happens, the daughter of an old, long-forgotten friend, the young and beautiful Catherine, has fallen madly in love with him after seeing him perform. Ambitious, she would like to act in turn. Unfortunately, charming as she may be, the young woman shows no acting talent whatsoever.
