Storyline
Five friends (representatives of the Fifties generation) now in their forties, get together after many years of silence.
Having chosen to withdraw from a fast world that has passed him by, Alkis, a collector of experiences perpetually stuck in the romantic era of the 1950s, has holed himself up in the decadent villa of his ex-wife. Haunted by bittersweet memories of bygone times and the aching reminiscence of former lover Vera, Alkis is jolted out of solitude when his cynical old friend Konstadinos shows up unannounced on a cold, stormy night. He is the same person, yet somehow changed. Outside, the manicured garden gives off the clean scent of soil and rain, and the cavernous, vacant mansion exhales a long sigh of relief--Alkis has found anew a reason to live. As the troubled host takes a trip down memory lane with once-inseparable companions, tragic secrets come to light, and the impromptu reunion becomes a macabre celebration of the glorious past. However, the decayed remnants of a long-forgotten era know that they are living on borrowed time: youth is long lost, and the cause has faded. When the music is over and only ghosts remain, who will remember the wretches' swan song?
