The Trace

Seristan grandmother fell ill with a serious illness, and when she realizes that her death is approaching, she wants her last wish to be fulfilled: to be buried in the land where she was born... Although her son Mirza does not want to return to the country that was abandoned years ago, he accepts this request. Hevi, Seristan and Mirza, who were against this journey from the beginning, set out by train. This journey will witness both a secret that has been kept for a lifetime and the sacrifices made while fulfilling the last 'mission'... Adapted from Yavuz Ekinci's story "Fig" and scripted by director Tayfur Aydin, the film tells the suffering and ordeal of people who were forced to leave their lands through the life of a 'Mother'. The film, which was shot in Istanbul, Diyarbakir and Batman, is produced by Turker Korkmaz, while Emre Konuk is the cinematographer, Selim Demirdelen is the editing and Mustafa Biber is the music.
