The Websters: Tales from a Spider Thread

Indian summer is coming - a kind of "spider Christmas" - filled with excitement, but also plenty of hustle and responsibilities. From all the stress and the rush of tasks, Daddy Webster falls ill... and suddenly loses the ability to spin spider silk. But without it, the family can't take part in the most magical tradition of the season: decorating the tree in their yard. Lili is heartbroken. Daddy needs to get better - and fast. The rest of the Websters divide his chores among themselves and get to work. By the time everyone gathers around the festive table in the evening, Daddy is feeling much better, but his web-spinning ability still hasn't returned. Perhaps the celebratory dinner will help restore it. Grandma is baking ants, and the rest of the family passes the time by reminiscing about their most exciting recent adventures.
