Plot Storyline

The sons of a poor family are forced to quit school to join their father in working to support their large family. As the fourth son is set to reluctantly follow in their footsteps, the eldest decides it's time for him to break free.

A large family scrapes by on the meager salaries of the father and three eldest sons, who left school in order to work and support the family. The fourth eldest is soon to finish school and follow in their footsteps, though he'd rather continue his schooling. The eldest brother finally decides that he wants to break free and set out on his own against his parents' wishes, with the support and sympathy of the other boys.
