The Woman in the Fifth

Determined to build bridges with his estranged family, Tom Ricks, a divorced and depressed American author, moves to Paris to reconnect with his young daughter. Instead, after a bitter encounter with his ex-wife, tapped-out Tom ends up in a seedy, out-of-the-way hotel tied up with the Parisian underworld, having to watch over an underground bunker to pay the rent. Then, at a literary soiree, Tom catches the eye of Margit, an elegant and equally cryptic femme fatale, and much to his delight, their romantic adventure in the City of Light rekindles his dormant creativity. However, imagination comes at a price. Who is the woman who lives in the fifth?
