Plot
Storyline
One day, Vasya journeys into the forest to meet his beloved Alyonushka, only to have her forcibly whisked away by the wretched Kashchej. To save her, Vasya must face a number of fabulous, archetypal tests.
The evil wizard, the Skeleton Immortal, wants to marry the over-hundred-year-old daughter of the witch Baba Yaga. As a wedding gift, he receives two apples of youth; once he eats them, his bride will no longer be young enough for him. He now sets his sights on the beautiful Alyonushka, whom he kidnaps through cunning and deceit.
