Two Doors Down

Brandon, a well-meaning but socially awkward man, psychs himself up as he arrives at what he believes is Katie's house, flowers in hand and confidence barely intact. Rehearsing his introduction under his breath, he approaches the door, only to find it slightly open. Assuming he's in the right place, Brandon cautiously steps inside and calls out for Katie. Instead of a warm welcome, he's confronted by a masked robber who quickly turns the situation into a chaotic struggle. Completely unprepared but running on adrenaline, Brandon manages to fight back and knock the intruder unconscious. Riding a sudden wave of pride, Brandon imagines himself as a hero... until he steps outside and realizes he's been in the wrong house the entire time. Embarrassed and frustrated, he heads back toward his car, only to hear Katie call out to him from the correct house across the street. With his confidence shaken and his flowers now ruined, Brandon awkwardly hands them over, trying to salvage what might be the worst first impression of his life.
