While the people suffer from abject poverty, homelessness, unemployment, violence, and rampant corruption in the government machinery, the politicians remain blase. Parties change and politicians gain and lose power, but for the people, it is only an arbitrary difference as the entire political and law enforcement machinery is mired in utter corruption. The country continues to be looted while its citizens continue to pay the price. How do we spark change? What can be done to revamp the entire system so that it may function properly, consequently creating a corruption free society?
