Things could hardly be going better for the young gynecologist Lena. She is appreciated by her patients and colleagues alike. But things are very different in her private life. Although she and her husband Sergei seem to have a stable relationship at first glance, passion and sex have long since ceased to play a role in their marriage. Lena suspects that Sergei is cheating on her with another woman, but doesn't let her jealousy show. Instead, she begins a series of affairs herself, which open up a world of passion and emotion for her. During one of these spontaneous flings, she is even caught by the police, while her sex partner manages to escape. But Lena meets him again in a very spicy situation: he is the husband of a woman who comes to her for treatment. And it is precisely this that causes both their relationship and her professional life to go off the rails. When she confides in Sergei, he is deeply hurt and overwhelmed. Certainties and prejudices are shaken.
