In 1986, the French Cinematheque completed its 50th anniversary and to celebrate its importance to cinema lovers through the years, the great Agnes Varda made this short tribute, narrated by Isabelle Adjani, presenting a contrast between the famous stairs from the place along with classic film images also revolving around stairs.
