Zoe's having a baby

Considering she having dealt with endometriosis, thirty year old Zoe Cain, a successful New York City publicist, receives some good news/bad news. The good: it has not precluded her from being able to conceive a child. The bad: that window of opportunity may be limited, so she being both single with no male significant other on the horizon and not really sure she is prepared to be a mother right now may factor into whether she will ever have a baby. Of the options, she decides to go through IVF treatments with the sperm from a sperm bank. Surprised that the treatment works on the first try, Zoe has to find some support to go through the pregnancy. Who was her best friend and roommate Rue is no longer an option in they only recently having had a falling out. The person who steps up to the plate is "stranger" Emmett Carmichael, a celebrity bad boy whose fame is solely being from a wealthy family and that money allowing him to exhibit outrageous behavior. He wants her to represent him through his most recent bad press, he convincing her to do so in return for that help through her pregnancy, he having gone through such in having a now adolescent son Mateo from a previous relationship. What he doesn't mention is that he has never really been present in Mateo's life, that is until recently when Mateo's mother Alana forced him to be. Who also becomes a present force in Zoe's life is Rob, they who dated once before Zoe became pregnant, he who wants to be the go to person for Zoe and her baby. As Emmett starts to develop feelings for Zoe, a battle as the alpha male in Zoe and the baby's life happens between Emmett and Rob, one of whom is two-faced in his behavior.
