Plot Storyline

ZZ Top performs in the music video "Sleeping Bag" from the album "Afterburner" recorded for Warner Brothers Records. The video begins in a cabin in the swamp where an old woman in a rocking chair reads a bedtime story to a young woman. Two burglars arrive and attempt to steal a bag of money. The young woman stops them and flees with the help of a stranger.

A music video was made to promote the song. The video revolves around a couple being chased by two wheel loaders and the Bear Foot monster truck.The video shows the destruction of the "Eliminator" vehicle featured in the videos of the album Eliminator and introduces the space shuttle on the cover of the Afterburner album. Actors Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and John Dye (Touched by an Angel) appear as the female and male leads. Directed by Steve Barron.
